indescribable

'Here I am, Humbled by your majesty'

As we look at the vasity and intricacy (not sure whether they are proper words) of creation it is a humbling experience. The shear complexity of everything on earth is phenominal and the extents and power in the many galaxies in the universe leave us feeling quite small.

It is interesting discovering more about creation, seeing how awesome Gods works are. But the striking fact is that we are very small and insignificant when you look at all around us.....

.... this is where I believe God has changed it all for us, Through Jesus his son, he wants to have relationship with us and get to know us. Even though we are minute specks in his masive universe. Even though we displease him and do things he tells us not to. He still would love to have a relationship with us, help us with life, and spend eternity with us......

A Yada Generation

I remember hearing a talk a few years ago about how God was going to build up a 'Yada' generation, a generation that would have a heart to know him, want to spend time with him. More and more I am hearing and seeing testimonies of young people who want to know God:

-People keen to talk to God

-People who crave hearing from God

-People keen to listen God

-People who talk to God in public without fear

-People who know Gods awesomness so much they have to share it.

Welcome to the Yada Generation.....

When did you last have a shower?

Most of us take a lot of time making ourselves look presentable and cleaning up our image. I remember reading that in the old days people use to only have a bath once a year?!?!?!?!
It may seem disgusting but while we try and keep ourselves clean and looking good, most of us often neglect a certain part of ourselves.

While man looks at the outward apearance, God looks at the heart..... When was the last time you had a spiritual clean up?

Sin destroys our relationship with God. If we dont take time to repent and ask Jesus to forgive us (not just on a one off, but regularly when we do stuff wrong) we will loose good relationship with our God who wants to be there to help us through stuff. Jesus died on the cross to get rid of our sin but we still have to say sorry and ask him to.

Remember Saying sorry can be one of the biggest relationship builders.

Dont be a 'one bath a year victorian', Turn to Jesus and away from sin and see the difference.
